I was dancing around the kitchen to Patsy Cline, making sweet potato pies for Thanksgiving and thinking of my grandmother who was in her last days. As I was dancing around baking pie in the kitchen, this song flowed out. Enjoy!

By the way, vanilla rum really does make all the difference! Don't have any? Go to your local grocery and get a couple of vanilla beans, place them in a bottle of rum and let that bottle sit in a cool dark place til next year. In the meantime, place pure vanilla flavoring in your pie recipe and then throw in a shot (or three) of rum. Yum.
